For years I’ve toyed with the notion of a column about pants. All types of pants. Trousers, cargos, carpenters, jeans, chinos, cords, and everything in between. Well, not khakis. We don’t need those. If you feel you need khakis, what you might actually need is some help.

My adoration for pants is enduring and expansive. A love that dates back years. Some of that overflowing devotion will be funneled here, mostly through images keen on documenting great pant moments by men and women of all ages and from all spaces. Some of those moments will be current and others won’t. It all feels very Tumblr-esque, which I must say, I take no issue with.

Mind you, this column may change with each new edition. At times it will be more aspirational and image-forward, like this here maiden voyage. Other times it could shift and lean more editorial. Then, of course, we’ll dive into very specific pairs of pants; maybe even some from my collection. But enough talk, let’s look at some good pants.
